The MD's opinion might carry more weight than an MS in Nutrition, but I relate more to this guy than the extremist anti-fructose fella.
Aragon's argument is that the Dr. Lustig ignores some data and basic facts to pin the blame for obesity/disease on one single thing. A level headed argument is one I can more readily buy into, regardless of the subject.
I watched the whole video though, and the take aways seem pretty solid. He did say milk was okay, so that's brownie points with me!
Then again, what the hell do I know. I'm not a brain scientist.
Completely agree about level headed arguments. That's why I recommend Taubes. He covers all the potential problems in diet objectively. And it is the most thorough and well researched book I've read on the topic. I am just anti-sugar. That's why I posted the article.:)
